Nagpur is poised for a significant transformation with the ambitious three-phase redevelopment plan unveiled for Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport. Beyond the airport, the Multi-modal International Cargo Hub and Airport at Nagpur Special Economic Zone (MIHAN-SEZ) continues to attract substantial investment. Four Nagpur-based companies have recently secured land parcels, committing nearly ₹150 crore in fresh investment and anticipating the creation of approximately 400 new employment opportunities. These new entrants represent diverse sectors, including lithium-ion battery technology, aircraft component supply, industrial design, and software development, further diversifying MIHAN’s industrial landscape.

Complementing this growth in infrastructure and industry, MIHAN residents are also set to benefit from enhanced public utilities. Piped Natural Gas (PNG) supply is anticipated to commence in MIHAN housing projects in July 2026, a move that will provide a cleaner and more convenient energy source for a growing number of households in the area.
