**Nagpur Infrastructure Sees Major Advancements with New Flyovers and Housing Projects**

Nagpur is experiencing significant infrastructure development, with key projects nearing completion and new initiatives launched to improve urban living. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari announced that the Mominpura flyover is on the verge of inauguration, expected within the next one to two months. This flyover, stretching from Kadbi Chowk to the Pehelwan Shah Dargah T-point, is set to ease traffic congestion in East Nagpur. Additionally, Gadkari mentioned that five to seven more bridges in the eastern part of the city are slated for opening in the coming months. These developments were announced following the inauguration of nine railway infrastructure projects worth Rs 484 crore by the Maharashtra Rail Infrastructure Development Corporation (MahaRail) in Nagpur.

Further infrastructure progress includes the upcoming opening of the Rs 150 crore Dipti Signal-Wardhaman Nagar Road flyover, scheduled for July 12. This four-lane flyover, which connects Bhagwan Sambhavnath Square to Dipti Signal Road, aims to eliminate delays at a busy railway crossing and improve traffic flow in East Nagpur. The Maharashtra Rail Infrastructure Development Corporation (MahaRail) is set to inaugurate a total of nine rail infrastructure projects across six districts on the same day, including four Road Over Bridges (ROBs), four subways, and one Road Under Bridge (RUB), with a combined investment of approximately Rs 484 crore. The Koradi Naka flyover is also anticipated to open in July 2026, bringing relief to commuters on National Highway 47.

In a significant move towards urban development and social welfare, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari laid the foundation stone for the ‘Swapnapurti’ housing project for sanitation workers in Nagpur. This project, under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana 2.0 (Urban), aims to provide quality housing with modern amenities, including solar power systems and advanced water management facilities. The Nagpur district administration is also organizing special camps until August 1 to facilitate the regularisation of residential encroachments on government and Nazul land that existed before January 1, 2011, offering a single-window facility for applicants.

बुनियादी ढांचे में और प्रगति में 150 करोड़ रुपये के दीप्ति सिग्नल-वरदमान नगर रोड फ्लाईओवर का आगामी उद्घाटन शामिल है, जो 12 जुलाई को निर्धारित है। यह चार-लेन का फ्लाईओवर, जो भगवान संभवनाथ स्क्वायर को दीप्ति सिग्नल रोड से जोड़ता है, एक व्यस्त रेलवे क्रॉसिंग पर देरी को समाप्त करने और पूर्वी नागपुर में यातायात के प्रवाह को बेहतर बनाने का लक्ष्य रखता है। महाराष्ट्र रेल इन्फ्रास्ट्रक्चर डेवलपमेंट कॉर्पोरेशन (महा रेल) उसी दिन छह जिलों में कुल नौ रेल अवसंरचना परियोजनाओं का उद्घाटन करने वाला है, जिसमें लगभग 484 करोड़ रुपये के संयुक्त निवेश के साथ चार रोड ओवर ब्रिज (आरओबी), चार सबवे और एक रोड अंडर ब्रिज (आरयूबी) शामिल हैं। कोराडी नाका फ्लाईओवर भी जुलाई 2026 में खुलने की उम्मीद है, जो राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग 47 पर यात्रियों को राहत देगा।

शहरी विकास और सामाजिक कल्याण की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम के रूप में, मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस और केंद्रीय मंत्री नितिन गडकरी ने नागपुर में स्वच्छता कर्मचारियों के लिए ‘स्वप्नपूर्ति’ आवास परियोजना की आधारशिला रखी। प्रधानमंत्री आवास योजना 2.0 (शहरी) के तहत यह परियोजना, सौर ऊर्जा प्रणाली और उन्नत जल प्रबंधन सुविधाओं सहित आधुनिक सुविधाओं के साथ गुणवत्तापूर्ण आवास प्रदान करने का लक्ष्य रखती है। नागपुर जिला प्रशासन 1 जनवरी 2011 से पहले सरकारी और नाजुल भूमि पर मौजूदा आवासीय अतिक्रमणों के नियमितीकरण की सुविधा के लिए 1 अगस्त तक विशेष शिविर भी आयोजित कर रहा है, जो आवेदकों के लिए एकल-खिड़की सुविधा प्रदान करता है।
