## Nagpur Set to Benefit from 13 New Rail Infrastructure Projects

**Nagpur, Maharashtra** – Nagpur is on the cusp of significant infrastructure development with the upcoming execution of 13 new rail infrastructure projects across the city. These initiatives are part of a broader statewide plan by the Maharashtra Rail Infrastructure Development Corporation (MahaRail) aimed at eliminating railway level crossings and enhancing urban mobility. Chief Minister Fadnavis has emphasized the need to prioritize projects that offer the most significant impact in eliminating level crossings, while also considering future urban expansion in infrastructure planning. This strategic approach aims to ensure that Nagpur’s transport network is not only improved in the present but is also future-ready.

Further boosting the city’s infrastructure, the Koradi Naka flyover is slated for opening in July 2026, providing long-awaited relief to commuters on National Highway 47. This flyover is expected to eliminate a major bottleneck, reducing travel times and enhancing road safety. In addition to these rail and road projects, the Mumbai-Nagpur-Jharsuguda Pipeline project is also progressing, with its Maharashtra section targeted for completion by June 2026. These combined infrastructure upgrades are set to significantly transform Nagpur’s connectivity and public utility services.
