**Nagpur Development Projects on Track, CM Emphasizes Quality and Timeliness**

Nagpur, Maharashtra – Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has directed all concerned agencies to ensure the timely and high-quality completion of various development projects across Nagpur. The directives were issued during a comprehensive review meeting with senior officials and public representatives. The projects encompass a wide range of sectors, including the Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC), MSIDC, MIHAN, divisional sports complexes, medical education and healthcare infrastructure, and MHADA.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister also highlighted the importance of developing organized urban infrastructure in densely populated areas. This includes the establishment of zonal vegetable markets, meat and fish markets, food malls, and designated hawker zones in localities with a population exceeding one lakh. These facilities are to be equipped with adequate parking. The Chief Minister stressed adherence to the Integrated Development Control and Promotion Regulations (UDCPR) as a guiding framework, with provisions for necessary amendments.

In parallel, the ‘New Nagpur’ project, spearheaded by the Nagpur Metropolitan Region Development Authority (NMRDA), is progressing with the aim of transforming the city into a corporate powerhouse and a next-generation urban hub. This ambitious initiative plans for advanced infrastructure, underground civic utilities, smart utility systems, and green mobility options, positioning Nagpur as a globally competitive city to attract start-ups, MSMEs, and technology firms.

Furthermore, infrastructure development in the transportation sector is underway. Rescheduling of railway infrastructure works across the Nagpur division is in progress, with the redevelopment of Nagpur Railway Station now targeted for completion by March 2027. Ajni Railway Station is also being developed as a satellite terminal, with completion anticipated by October 2026. The Nagpur–Sewagram third and fourth lines are nearing completion, and the Nagpur–Nagbhir gauge conversion is expected to finish by the end of 2026.

नागपुर, महाराष्ट्र – मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस ने नागपुर शहर में चल रही विभिन्न विकास परियोजनाओं की समय पर और उच्च गुणवत्ता वाली पूर्णता सुनिश्चित करने के लिए सभी संबंधित एजेंसियों को निर्देश दिए हैं। ये निर्देश वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों और जनप्रतिनिधियों के साथ एक व्यापक समीक्षा बैठक के दौरान जारी किए गए। इन परियोजनाओं में नागपुर नगर निगम (NMC), MSIDC, MIHAN, संभागीय खेल परिसर, चिकित्सा शिक्षा और स्वास्थ्य सेवा अवसंरचना, और MHADA जैसे कई विभाग शामिल हैं।

बैठक के दौरान, मुख्यमंत्री ने घनी आबादी वाले क्षेत्रों में सुनियोजित शहरी अवसंरचना विकसित करने के महत्व पर भी प्रकाश डाला। इसमें एक लाख से अधिक आबादी वाले इलाकों में क्षेत्रीय सब्जी बाजार, मांस और मछली बाजार, फूड मॉल और निर्धारित हॉकर जोन की स्थापना शामिल है। इन सुविधाओं में पर्याप्त पार्किंग की व्यवस्था होगी। मुख्यमंत्री ने एकीकृत विकास नियंत्रण और संवर्धन विनियम (UDCPR) का पालन करने पर जोर दिया, और आवश्यकतानुसार संशोधन करने के भी निर्देश दिए।

इसके साथ ही, नागपुर मेट्रोपॉलिटन रीजन डेवलपमेंट अथॉरिटी (NMRDA) द्वारा शुरू की गई ‘न्यू नागपुर’ परियोजना प्रगति पर है, जिसका उद्देश्य शहर को एक कॉर्पोरेट पावरहाउस और अगली पीढ़ी के शहरी केंद्र में बदलना है। इस महत्वाकांक्षी पहल में उन्नत अवसंरचना, भूमिगत नागरिक उपयोगिताओं, स्मार्ट उपयोगिता प्रणालियों और हरित गतिशीलता विकल्पों की योजना शामिल है, जो नागपुर को स्टार्टअप्स, एमएसएमई और प्रौद्योगिकी फर्मों को आकर्षित करने के लिए विश्व स्तर पर प्रतिस्पर्धी शहर के रूप में स्थापित करेगा।

इसके अतिरिक्त, परिवहन क्षेत्र में भी अवसंरचना विकास जारी है। नागपुर मंडल में रेलवे अवसंरचना कार्यों को फिर से निर्धारित किया जा रहा है, जिसमें नागपुर रेलवे स्टेशन का पुनर्निर्माण मार्च 2027 तक पूरा होने का लक्ष्य है। अजनी रेलवे स्टेशन को एक सैटेलाइट टर्मिनल के रूप में विकसित किया जा रहा है, जिसके अक्टूबर 2026 तक पूरा होने की उम्मीद है। नागपुर-सेवाग्राम की तीसरी और चौथी लाइनें लगभग पूरी होने वाली हैं, और नागपुर-नागबीर गेज रूपांतरण 2026 के अंत तक पूरा होने की उम्मीद है।
