**Nagpur Gears Up for Major Flyover Inauguration and Cultural Events**

**Nagpur, Maharashtra – September 18, 2026** – The city of Nagpur is set to witness a significant enhancement in its infrastructure with the upcoming inauguration of the Indora Chowk–Dighori Chowk Flyover on NH-353D. The ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, September 19, 2026, at 4:30 PM at Reshimbagh Chowk. Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Shri Nitin Gadkari, will inaugurate the 8.90 km long corridor, which includes a 6.37 km flyover constructed at a cost of ₹997.44 crore. This project, undertaken by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), aims to significantly ease traffic congestion, reduce travel delays, and improve road safety and connectivity within the city. The flyover’s design incorporates advanced technology and features, including Ultra-High Performance Fibre-Reinforced Concrete (UHPFRC) and accommodates two-way traffic.

In addition to infrastructure development, Nagpur is also buzzing with cultural activity. The city is preparing to host the ‘Kavyotsav Vividha,’ an all-India literary festival on September 19. The event, starting at 5:30 PM at Madhuram Hall, Hindi Mor Bhavan, Rani Jhansi Chowk, will celebrate poetry, literature, and linguistic diversity, featuring poets from across the country. **नागपुर, महाराष्ट्र – १८ सितंबर, २०२६** – नागपुर शहर अपने बुनियादी ढांचे में एक महत्वपूर्ण सुधार देखने के लिए तैयार है, जिसमें एनएच-३५३डी पर इंदिरा चौक–दिघोरी चौक फ्लाईओवर का आगामी उद्घाटन शामिल है। इस भव्य फ्लाईओवर का शुभारंभ शनिवार, १९ सितंबर, २०२६ को शाम ४:३० बजे रेशिमबाग चौक में होगा। केंद्रीय सड़क परिवहन और राजमार्ग मंत्री, श्री नितिन गडकरी, इस ८.९० किमी लंबे कॉरिडोर का उद्घाटन करेंगे, जिसमें ₹९९७.४४ करोड़ की लागत से बना ६.३७ किमी लंबा फ्लाईओवर भी शामिल है। भारतीय राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग प्राधिकरण (एनएचएआई) द्वारा शुरू की गई इस परियोजना का उद्देश्य शहर के भीतर यातायात की भीड़ को काफी कम करना, यात्रा में देरी को घटाना और सड़क सुरक्षा तथा कनेक्टिविटी में सुधार करना है। फ्लाईओवर के डिजाइन में अल्ट्रा-हाई परफॉरमेंस फाइबर-रीइन्फोर्स्ड कंक्रीट (यूएचपीएफआरसी) जैसी उन्नत तकनीकें शामिल हैं और यह दोनों तरफ के यातायात को समायोजित करेगा।
